We heard a lot about how the current alternatives that are there, whether they're 7th, 8th Avenue or 10th Avenue, are not doing the job they need to to bring people to them. There's a lot of issues around safety.

I love how many vertical meters was climbed by one of the speakers by going up and down between Broadway and 10th Avenue. And that when people travel on those routes, they don't stop and shop and eat on Broadway. And that's what part of a complete street is, getting people there that are going to use the stores and the businesses.

More cars on the road is not the future that we want. It is a future where people are living in compact neighborhoods, in complete neighborhoods, can walk, cycle, roll to where they need to meet their needs and that are streets.

Turning to public realm. 11% of road space for non-car use. Love to see that that's going to be one of the things we're working on.
