Join HUB Cycling for a leisurely 10-kilometre route along the iconic Vancouver Seawall that starts with a fun pre-ride celebration at David Lam Park
As the sun sets, hundreds of brightly lit bikes create a vibrant and unforgettable atmosphere. The route winds through the iconic Vancouver Seawall and across Burrard Bridge before returning to David Lam Park, providing a safe and enjoyable night ride for all ages and abilities.
The ride follows the pre-festival, taking place in two waves. The first wave is geared towards families with young children who may ride slower or have earlier bedtimes.
Before and after the ride, participants will enjoy music, food trucks, free bike maintenance, bike decorating, light giveaways, Project 529 registrations and valuable information to help you feel confident cycling at night.

2025 Recap
Bike the Night is a 10 km night ride along the iconic Vancouver Seawall to promote bike light usage for safe cycling at night and to raise funds for HUB Cycling.
The event begins with a pre-ride festival filled with music, food trucks, games, bike tune-ups, bike decorating, prizes and sponsor activations.
The ride follows the pre-festival, taking place in two waves. The first wave is geared towards families with young children who may ride slower or have earlier bedtimes.
In 2025, 800 participants left David Lam Park and pedalled 10 kilometres along the iconic Vancouver Seawall over the new Granville Bridge Connector bike path.
